In the sports field, it can be used in the automotive or fitness sector to simulate different sports activities. It can also be used in driver training for everyday use. Finally, in the gaming sector, simulation can be used to pilot the most varied means.
The possibility of experimenting with increasingly complex maneuvers and evaluating their consequences in a safe and controlled context makes simulation an effective and attractive tool. However, with the progress of artificial intelligence and automation, the simulation could lose importance in some sectors, where technologies would increasingly take care of the tasks until now performed by humans. On the contrary, simulation could maintain its role mainly in the sports and gaming sectors, where it would be used for purposes mainly of entertainment or training.
